What are the lasers coming from the telescopes?
When ever I see a video of the universe, telescopes show the mountains and Most of them will have a beam of orange kick out of it. What to do? How far should we go?
The largest telescopes the laser used to calculate the distortion adaptive optics for better image quality atmosphere. Amateur astronomers use lasers to help find the object you want to see (it is very difficult, even if you find the visible to the naked eye M31, with the zoom which provides a telescope is very difficult).
Can anyone tell me if orion telescopes are good for beginners, I want to get my son into telescopes and he is keen to learn but I’m not sure which telescopes are the best for beginners.
