Shopping for astronomy binoculars?

I wanted a pair of binoculars for use with my telescope, but I have no idea what they mean numbers. How I can know if what I'm thinking of buying a good quality binoculars for viewing the night sky. I have a Meade ETX 60 telescope I bought in January, and the only reason I bought was because it was for cleaning of $ 200 to $ 50. I recently got addicted to the view to see the night sky, but now I want to buy a pair of binoculars and want to know what the numbers mean, and how to determine what is best? Example (25-125×80) or (20×60). These are just examples, and if anyone knows of a great place to buy the binoculars at a reasonable price that would be great too, thanks.

The first number is the increase the second number is the aperture (size of the objective lens in mm). A binocular that includes two issues of magazine and 25-125, is probably a zoom binoculars which is better avoided, their quality is generally good, and you are paying for the explosion genius zoom function is pretty useless, really. The 20×60 sounds like a pretty big binocular, with an extension which is quite high. I suspect this would be difficult to hold steady, and displayed as a little slice of heaven not complement its telescope, but instead compete with it – and probably lose. Most astronomical binoculars are 7 x 50 or 10 x 50 models are multiple applications or multiple applications in their entirety. Multi-media applications at least one coating – FGM has been applied to each of the optical surfaces, and outside of the front lens has multiple layers. Fully multi-media applications that all surfaces have mutiple layers. X 20 60 can work, but it is possible want to try others first. big binoculars like these occasionally show significant chromatic aberration when viewing small objects bright, and you may need a tripod that they are useless. This is easy to check into a local astronomy club observing public meeting. Good luck and clear skies!
