Meade land and sky telescope?

I just got the land and sky telescope Meade and I dont really know how to use it. I was a good taste mouth that does not meet any of the planets! Where do I find the planets? What time of day outside? How I can see the stars and planets was very detailed through a telescope? Thanks

All right. Please be more descriptive about your telescope. And he who first said Mars is in the northwest. You are right. For you! not for everywhere. I live in PA in the USA. and is in the East. Ok. I hope I can help. 1. Depending on your telescope I guess is a bottom telescope will not be able to see details that most of the planets. On Mars is very likely to be a red point. that's it. Saturn will better with its glorious rings. that are easily identifiable. and Jupiter will be good too. Venus is like the moon and you just see it as a cue ball. (Venus goes through phases like the Moon because it is closer to the sun then we are.) (I have a Meade ETX-105 and I can barely see detail on Mars. So do not be disappointed) 2. Not no such thing as a star in more detail. Now I think you mean detailed constellations. Again stellarium will help there. I hope I answered your question.
