Meade ETX-90 Telescope Deal?
I've been offered a Meade ETX-90 for $ 200 with the alt mount and some objectives. However, I have seen comments and photos earlier in the telescope, which were all GoTo telescopes. It does not have ports in its base for the class, so I'm a little skeptical when it comes to an old, but still the same telescope, its partner computer. I've been searching for weeks for an amateur telescope I can afford, but not worth anything. Should I go for it? The surprising thing in council. Ive been looking for binoculars for weeks, but no one has a couple that are ready to discard. It has also established the Orion XT10 as my primary goal a telescope, as I would a dobsonion, but $ 500 is out of my range for the next few months. That's why I've been looking telescopes used.
All I can say is wait for the funds for the XT10 is a fine instrument and well worth the wait. Join a club, members are always willing to help and you can get an eye while at a party or two stars. Wally
