What is a good telescope equipment for a beginner in astrophotography?
I have a ETX-125 PE Meade edition but has now been broken and need a new one. I would start looking at what good Astro telescopes and equipment do you recommend?
Telescopes are generally not "break." If the support is not working properly, it can be repaired or replaced. A ETX125 is too good a telescope to throw away! Astro is by far the most expensive and difficult area of amateur astronomy. Many people who buy telescopes have no idea how to find interesting things to observe. A good introduction to what you find is Nightwatch by Terence Dickinson (Firefly). A more advanced book is Star Watch by Phil Harrington (Wiley).
