Why is it important to place the optical telescopes at the summit at an altitude as possible?
What is the difference between a telescope and reflector telescope? What are the advantages over telescope reflector telescope? Why telescopes on Earth's surface are designed to study the visible wavelengths or radio? Why is it important to place the optical telescopes at the summit at an altitude as possible? Why is it important for them as close as possible to the Equator? Why sometimes build on one of the telescopes at the same place?
A telescope uses lenses to collect and focus light, while a reflector uses a curved mirror. When light passes through the lens of a refractor telescope, refracting the light, but not all colors are also bent. It makes little band called "chromatic aberration" in the image. In a reflector, the light bounces in front of the mirror so as not to occur. In addition, a reflector, a surface must be optically ground while two surfaces (four in a better telescope that uses multiple lenses) must be on the ground, making a reflector less. In addition, an objective can based only on the edge, which limits the size of lens can be before the cut begins to "return" of its own weight. Because light does not pass through the mirror of a reflector, the whole back of the mirror can handle, so it is easier to make the largest telescope. Because they are the only two groups of electromagnetic radiation that are not blocked by the Earth's atmosphere. The upper air is clearer, so there is less dust, pollution and other things to see through. In addition, there is less air to see through to high altitudes, where it can reduce the effect turbulence in the air. The only advantage of putting an end to the scope of Ecuador comes to mind is that you can see the sky of a place. Very often, the two fields are used together to find the same object. A telescope of "resolving power" (How close can be two things at each other, and yet distinguished as separate objects) is a function of the diameter of the lens or mirror. If you use two telescopes the image of the object itself, the data from them can be combined, and that gives you a telescope with the resolving power equal the construction of a giant mirror so great that the distance between the two areas, a much lower cost.
I just got a telescope, and I am a beginner … Do you have any advice?
I just received a Meade DS-2114ATS-LNT 114mm f/8.8 with (1000 mm focal length) Newtonian reflector optics, 1.25 "9.7mm (103x) and 26mm (38x) Super Plössl eyepieces and a 2x Barlow lens. Also comes with a computer / motor quide Autostar system. I am a beginner is this equipment and supply in some color filters. What kind of lens should I consider buying? Please your help!
Bamm see the ice caps on Mars. Bamm telescope that fat. Bamm think he needs diet. Bamm own radio telescope that now. Bamm say that can. Bamm say just ask Jodi Foster. Bamm say that the Queen of the wormhole. Bamm ad always says film does not go into the future. Bamm that travel more faster than light is supposed to slow time. Bamm zippity say they will do dah. Bamm say why when they come back to only 1 second instead of years. Bamm confused.
